The Thaddäus Inn, with support from the development association 'Cabaret Thaddäus e.V.', organized a traditional farmyard festival as the finale of the 2008 spring program. Many visitors took advantage of the beautiful early summer evening to meet up with friends and to enjoy the famous atmosphere.
The two, highly musical conductors Enrigue Ugarte und Raul Alvarellos ensured high spirits from the beginning. The 'Duo Virtuoso' offered up a fascinating musical kaleidoscope ranging from folklore to tango to Mozart's Kleine Nachtmusik. Then Akos Papp, along with his twelve year old son, celebrated the best of Hendrik Blues. Highlight of the evening was a spontaneous jamming session: Enrique Ugarte joined and amplified the duo, and the three excellent musicians improvised to the great joy of the listeners.
The kitchen of the Thaddäus Inn ensured the physical well-being of the guests with hearty, culinary Swabian delicacies. The development association served specialties from the grill and from the oven. Jochen Jordan offered up not only Bourgogne wine, but selected Allgäu cheese varieties of godess-like quality as well.
The wine stand of Ilse Mazza from the Wachau was rushed as usual. The longtime friend of the brothers Panitz and the Thaddäus Inn, with help from daughter Christine, her sister Inge and her brother-in-law Heinz served up her own wines, which are in the meantime, based on their quality, much appreciated by the friends of the Thaddäus inn and beyond.
For the grand finale of the evening program, the „Mehlprimeln“ Reiner und Dietmar Panitz, wowed the guests with their cabaret skits. But for quite a few guests, according to innkeeper Jürgen Panitz, sunrise was the finale.
